Today, April 16th is a day without shoes. This is in order to let people know about the company and also to raise awareness. I think it is wonderful that people have the heart to create something such as this. Not only do they give shoes to children who need them, but they also raise awareness. There are many people who are not as lucky as we are. So, if you want to don some Toms and help out. They have many different colors and styles to choose from. Some people really like the style (me), but others say they are too girly(whatever that mean). I like when people tell me that. I kindly reply, "Well, for every pair you purchase, they donate a pair to a child in need. " That usually quiets any haters. Have a wonderful day and if you have time please check out their website. ReplyDeleteI don't think the styles are girly, I'm just not crazy about the moccasin house-shoe style I guess.
If they made flip-flops? God, yes PLEASE.
Who knows though, I might buy a pair for my trip to Hawaii. They'd be comfortable plane shoes.
That's cool. I'm not going anywhere today and I'm always barefoot at home so not sure how much awareness I would raise haha.

ReplyDeleteCaleb, they are branching off and having more styles now. They have some that aren't so moccasin house-shoe like now. They have some stitch out with a more durable sole.
